ISLA

ISLA.

Rafael Cadenas.

Island.
He´s still on the same beaches he came from.
He lives in a wooden city that raises its bitter smell like a
dagger.
It´s there he lives, ghostlike, virtual, a lover. Where he talks
to himself in a strange language. Where he´s closer to his
body.
He still looks out of a window to see the primitive evening.
He moves in from of phantom vegetation. He carries Raleigh´s
treasure, a woman´s face and some barbaric fragance
of the sun that sleeps among the leaves.
